According to the National Weather Service, snow accumulation in Warren County could range from 5-9 inches.

Western sent out a campus-wide e-mail saying, all faculty, staff and students should use their best judgment when planning travel to and from campus and not put themselves in danger.

Bowling Green and Warren County will be under a winter storm warning from 6 a.m. on Friday until 6. a.m. on Saturday, according to the National Weather Service in Louisville.

The weather service also predicts that accumulations in that time period could be between 4 to 7 inches south of a line from Morgantown in Butler County to Columbia in Adair County, which includes Bowling Green.

Temperatures are expected to remain below the freezing point until Monday, when a high near 27 is expected, according to the weather service.
