Feb. 14 is Valentine’s Day. It is a day for lovers to exchange tokens of love-candy, flowers, engagement rings and champagne. But its origin dates back to the third century Rome. According to the most popular legend, the day is a tribute to St. Valentine, a Catholic bishop, who was performing marriages for young lovers in secret.
