Well said! Nothing short of a personal obligation to personal religion caused the person to write and complain about the XXX bookstore ad (in a previous letter to the editor). Your response was well-articulated and sound. I’m pleased to learn a bit of inside info with regard to your advertising policy and the obvious thought [...]

Wow, it shows a lot about a person that can write letters to a college news paper complaining about adderall usage vs. how they work so hard to make the grade and how everyone using the drug is trying to be successful like yourself and how they give a hundred and ten percent everyday, and [...]

Saddam Hussein had weapons of mass destruction. We have the receipts ( See http://www.worldmessenger.20m.com/weapons.html#wms ) . Hussein used them on the Iranians and to exterminate the Iraqis opposed to his regime up to and during Gulf War I. But this really has nothing to do with why we are in Iraq. The real motive for [...]

While we value the intent of the article, please allow us to make a few minor corrections to your feature on Western?_TMs history (November 17, 2005).

Have you ever heard of Raphael Palmero? His entire Hall of Fame baseball career and all his accomplishments are in question because of his reported use of steroids. Even though steroids were not frowned upon by Major League Baseball during his suspected use, many feel that he acquired an unfair advantage from taking them. Adderall, [...]

A Woman’s Heart
Many college students do not really think about their health all that much, especially the health of their heart. Being heart healthy is very important even during college years. Heart disease is the number one killer of women over the age of 25. So this does include lots of us college students. I [...]

To the Herald,
I write now from my second story apartment on College Street. It’s nearly 1 AM and I have an early class. I should be doing homework or studying, sleeping even… but instead, I’m listening to the high pitch squeals and guttural groans of my peers one story below. There’s a [...]

I recently read a letter submitted to the Herald which claimed an intramural conspiracy. It is my opinion that this letter could not be further from the truth, and your readers would be wise to discredit this blatant display of poor class. And it shouldn’t be hard for them to do this when you realize [...]
