Western administrators will likely know the extent of state budget cuts for higher education after spring break.

Americans are reportedly losing confidence in the way colleges are managed, but some Western administrators and students say they don’t think that’s happening here.
A recent national survey found an increasing number of people believe colleges are more concerned with their financial well-being than the educational quality of students, the Chronicle of Higher Education reported.
