For the last 10 weeks, 14 girls have been transformed into women.
Project CLASS (Creating Leaders and Shaping Sisters) was designed similarly to VH1’s show, “Charm School,” featuring workshops and team-building activities to make eager participants more productive.

Engines are revved up, banners are complete and buckets of sugary treats are full as campus organizations and clubs prepare for a Homecoming tradition.
The Homecoming parade will take place today at 5 p.m. on the Avenue of Champions.
Some organizations have made floats and others chose to walk and wave.

Trepagnier, the author of “Silent Racism: How Well-Meaning White People Perpetuate the Racial Divide” spoke to students and faculty Thursday night in Mass Media Auditorium about research she did on silent racism.

Excited patrons donned their favorite cowboy boots, hats and plaid shirts as they entered the sold-out Montgomery Gentry concert in Diddle Arena. The dark arena was filled with cheering fans, not limited to Western students.
Seven-year-old Daisy Epling beamed from the front row with her mother, Marylon Lampert. The concert was Daisy’s first and she showed every one of her teeth as she smiled and peered around. Lampert drove 30 minutes from Auburn to see the duo.
