Bowling Green band Cage the Elephant sometimes spends months at a time away from home while on tour.
But lead vocalist Matt Shultz said they’ll be home for Thanksgiving this year.
Cage the Elephant will play at 7:30 p.m. on Monday at the Capitol Arts Center, 416 E. Main St.

When the Fountain Square players stepped on stage last night to perform “Down an Alley Filled with Cats,” it kicked off the 168th play they’ve performed in their 31-year history, said Bill Russell, a charter member of Fountain Square Players.

Wendell Strode, Executive Director of the National Corvette Museum, said he sees a lot of Western red at the museum during Homecoming weekend.
“There’s always a surge in visitors,” he said. “We see a lot of Alumni and parents of students during this weekend. There is definitely a large portion of the visitors sporting the color red.”
Other Bowling Green business owners say they also have a steady record of reaping the benefits from people visiting Western during Homecoming.
