Clad in a bubble gum pink dress and gold stilettos, Bowling Green sophomore Audrey Fry danced across the stage of DUC Theater Friday night. The audience cheered and rooted her on. She swung her hair and shook her hips with deliberate confidence. This scene was all too familiar for Fry.

Yesterday, history was made. At least it was in the eyes of Louisville junior Michael Puckett.
Yesterday marked the inaugural release of Rise Over Run magazine, the newest online magazine at Western.

Dressed in business suits, 42 men walked onto Western’s campus yesterday with one set goal – to pass out copies of the New Testament to Western students. They strategically planted themselves all around campus to ensure that they reached the most students possible.

Three years ago, when I first stepped foot on the Hill I was a carefree, easygoing freshman. I was ready for whatever challenges college might bring. Nowadays, I fear for my life every time I set foot on campus. I am overly paranoid; suspicious of every moving vehicle, and frightened that every time I cross the street I will find out, firsthand, whether or not you get free tuition if you’re hit by a car while on campus.
