The Facilities Management department announced today that it has hired a new director to begin work on April 5.
The new director, Charlie Jones, has a background in the education field and “improving the overall education experience for students,” according to a letter from Edwin Morgan, interim Facilities Management director.
Jones is replacing former director Bob Ware.

Western receives swine flu vaccine

Western now has the swine flu vaccine, according to an e-mail sent today at about 4:30 p.m. by Health Services.
The H1N1 vaccines will be available starting 8 a.m. Monday and will be administered on a first-come-first-serve basis, according to the e-mail.
