Chester L. Davis, the professor emeritus of the Computer Science Department who presided over the formation of that department in the early 1970s, was known for his tremendous work ethic and love for computer science. Davis, 84, died on April 14 at his home in Bowling Green.

A sophomore from Ashland City, Tenn., is facing four felony charges after she was arrested by Louisville Metro police on I-65 south of Louisville. Allison A. Fitzhugh faces four counts of wanton endangerment after almost hitting two parked police cars and a construction worker, police reported.

Saban Ferizi finally saw where his son died. About 60 family members and friends attended a vigil Thursday evening for Eros Berisaj outside the house where he died on April 3. Berisaj, 15, was shot and killed as he allegedly broke into a house at 525 Creekwood Court.

The family of an unarmed 15-year-old boy shot and killed last week will hold a vigil today at the Warren County Justice Center. Eros Berisaj was shot and killed while allegedly breaking into a residence at 525 Creekwood Court. The vigil will be at 5:15 p.m. today – about the time Eros was killed on April 3.
