‘Apocalypso!’ to kick off theater season

Graduates deal with chances in love relationships

After graduation, some students will be able to spend even more time with their significant other.

But some will have to spend time apart.

For some who will walk the line on May 10, graduation means major changes for their relationships.

People like Madisonville senior Brad Oldham and Madisonville junior Heather Pendergraff, are in serious, committed relationships and are ready to progress into the future with their newly earned degrees and their loved ones.

Play features Western professors

Public Theatre of Kentucky’s production of the Broadway play “Art” features three members of Western’s theatre and dance department -department head Scott Stroot, theatre professor David Young, and former department head Bill Leonard.

History professor gains opportunity to teach abroad

Charles Bussey will have an opportunity to show his passion to a whole new culture in August.

Bussey, a history professor, was awarded a Fulbright Scholar Award that will allow him to teach courses in U.S. history and government for 10 months at Agder University, a small school of 6,000 students in Kristiansand, Norway.
