At tonight’s Student Government Association meeting:
- SGA President Kevin Smiley announced that President Gary Ransdell will speak to senators and others in attendance at SGA’s meeting on Tuesday, Nov. 2.
- A date has been set for an SGA-sponsored event that will bring local and state legislators to a dinner at Western. The event will take place at at 4:30 p.m. on Dec. 8, Smiley said.
He said all students are encouraged to attend the event so they can get to know their legislators better.
- Bowling Green senior Skylar Baker-Jordan announced his resignation from SGA.
Jordan said that, due to financial issues, he won’t be a student this fall, so he can’t be a student senator.
He said he’ll return to Western this spring.
- Scott Davis, a junior from Sandusky, Ohio, was approved as a student senator.
- Senators will vote on approving Allan Huntsman, Nicholas Hummer and Jonathon Tabor for student senate at the Tuesday, Nov. 2 meeting, according to tonight’s meeting agenda.
