Smiley elected SGA president

Danville junior Kevin Smiley was elected president of the Student Government Association with 894 votes. The results were announced at about 12:14 a.m. Thursday. His opponent Kayla Shelton, a junior from Gallatin, Tenn., got 673 votes.

Elizabethtown senior Kendrick Bryan was elected executive vice president with 847 votes. His opponent, Louisville sophomore Ben Lineweaver got 686 votes.

Auburn junior Justin Thurman was elected administrative vice president with 798 votes. His opponent, Louisville junior Brittany-Ann Wick, got 624 votes.
