Senior wide receiver Curtis Hamilton led the team with 134 yards and two touchdowns on seven catches that included an 84-yard touchdown reception from redshirt-freshman quarterback K.J. Black.

Two seniors broke school records on Senior Night.
Hamilton broke the career receiving record with 2,251 yards, and senior kicker Chris James broke the career scoring record with 290 points.
Senior linebacker Dusty Bear collected eight tackles and an interception.
“This is a great group of seniors that have really embraced this season and what is going on with our program,” coach David Elson said. “I’m really proud of the way they’ve led this football team and it was fun to see them out here tonight.”
The Eagles (7-4) reached the end zone twice in the contest. They took an early 6-0 lead after recovering an onside kick on the opening play and driving the ball 57 yards.
They were unable to convert the extra point and did not score again until 2:25 left in the fourth quarter.
Western will compete in its last game of the 2007 season next Saturday at North Texas.
