Junior forward Crystal Kelly finished with 32 points and nine rebounds to lead Western over Minnesota 73-57 in the second round of the Women’s National Invitation Tournament.

Kelly finished nine-of-11 from the field and hit all 14 of her free throw attempts. She connected on all of her first nine shots from the field.

Sophomore guard Brianne Brown added 13 points off the bench.

The Lady Toppers (21-8) will host Mississippi State in round three of the tournament at 7 p.m. Thursday at Diddle Arena.
