As the academic year begins, the Herald would like students to know that we value their voices.
Our newspaper plans on publishing a wide range of ideas and opinions on this page. Any student can write to us with a letter to the editor or a commentary. These can be about any topic the reader finds worthy of discussion and can be sent to herald@wkuherald.com.
Letters to the editor should not exceed 250 words, and commentaries, which are usually article-length, should not exceed 800 words. Please begin the subject line with “LETTER” or “COMMENT.”
Because we have only so much space, the Herald can’t publish everything it receives. We also will not publish anything that consists of vulgar language or could be considered libelous.
Please include your name, hometown, phone number and year. This information is necessary for publication.
Without contributions from students, this page will lack substance. Help us keep our paper whole.
