Well said! Nothing short of a personal obligation to personal religion caused the person to write and complain about the XXX bookstore ad (in a previous letter to the editor). Your response was well-articulated and sound. I’m pleased to learn a bit of inside info with regard to your advertising policy and the obvious thought and care used when making those decisions.
I’m glad the Herald is doing its job to promote and publish unbiased news and information.
But you’d best watch out: Exposure to certain UV rays is known to cause skin cancer, and I’ve seen some ads for tanning beds betwixt your pages . . . someone will accuse you of promoting melanoma . . .
