It has come to my attention, and the attention of many that some types of people don’t know how to act in public. Especially when in the Mass media computer lab. All I ever hear when I go in there is n*gg* this and n*gg* that when I go in there and try to complete assignments. Although some may not agree with me, the majority of students on campus know exactly what I am talking about. It has gotten to the point were people avoid going in there whenever they can. This is college, despite our cultural differences and the launguage we choose to use, a public computer lab is no place for loud and obscene conversations. Not only do instances like this distract people from their work, it makes the people doing it look like hoodlums. Heck, if you even nicely asked someone to be quiet, like a juvenile, they take offense. Its almost like the mass media lab is controled by street gangs. I would almost come to the conclusion that a lot of people feel unsafe by going in there.
