Prisoners to benefit blind

rammy nominee and founding member of Wet Willy, Jimmy Hall will be in Bowling Green this weekend with his band, Jimmy Hall and the Prisoners of Love.

The Friday night show will be held at Ellis Place State Street Pub. Hall has toured with bands like The Allman Brothers, Grateful Dead and Grand Funk Railroad and has lead Hank Williams Jr.’s Bama Band.

Also on hand for the evening is Jack Pearson, Karl Moulden and Reese Wynons who, like Hall, have plenty of accolades under their belts.

Wynons, for example, is the former keyboardist for Stevie Ray Vaughn.

A portion of the proceeds will go to benefit the South Central Kentucky Council of the Blind.
